Budri Prasad

Budri Prasad was a very young man in 1970 when he made me a pair of oversized pajamas on his then ancient and oh-so-prized sewing machine. Set up in an open market, this young entrepreneur of Jabalpur, India, took on this commission with skill and joy. I still have (the remnants of) his creation. This charming Indian inspired fabric was chosen in his honor! The gorgeous button is a perfect, one-of-a-kind, handmade fortuitous match found four decades later! The purse features seven interior pockets, a key leash, and an exterior flip phone - or whatever! - pocket. The body of the purse is approximately 12" wide and 13" deep; the arc of the handle is about 27"; the purse stands about 25" tall. Shipping is usually under $10 by Priority Mail.
